An Invitation from the Ministerial Search Committee

E-mail Print PDF

On the weekend of September 25 - 26, UUCSF will participate in the Beyond Categorical Thinking workshop offered by the Unitarian Universalist Association for congregations involved in the search for a new minister. The UUCSF Search Committee invites all congregational leaders, members, and friends to participate in this workshop.  The program is designed to promote inclusive thinking and help prevent unfair discrimination in the search process for a new minister.

Explore how thinking categorically about people sometimes interfers with choosing the best candidate.

Next Grounds Work Day, September 11

E-mail Print PDF

Help Needed!

Our next grounds work session will be held Saturday, September 11, beginning at 8:30, and we need many more people to help. The summer rains and high heat have caused an explosion of weeds, for one thing. For another, it is time to begin transplanting shrubs and small trees from places that are inappropriate for their survival. They'll be going out to the large front "lawn" area, where they will become part of the plan to improve the view from Galisteo and Barcelona. Many people have requested that we do something about that area, but more people must step up to get it done. So save the date, September 11, show up with your favorite tools, and we'll set you on a task. Cool drinks will be available, and we always have fun.
